I live in southern part of India which was known for moral and culture values. But what it is now is a different story. I think the cases of child abuse and killing for jewels have surged than it was when we were in school. The childhood of a person is very important for anybody. The things and events happening within the age of 10 or 15 are very much memorable and could be foundation of the characters of a person. I think its natural attitude for the “animals” to attack the weakest. The children are put to school in the age of 3 years, not letting them to spent time in playing and living normal life without any schedule.
Here I want to discuss my idea to prevent/locate/stop a child from facing what every living organism deserves not be facing. We can use smart watches with features of shout recognition, irregular heart beat recognition, GPS and messaging system. There are many devices and ideas developed to help on woman harassment. Based on my research, such devices are predominately a mobile app or a physical device connected to mobile which operates on clicking a button to message and alert relatives and people around in case of emergency.
We get smart watches for heart beat and sleep recognition. When the watches are added with the features to recognize shout and cry of a person wearing it, at any time without need to press any button, it would help children of any age to use it to be connected with their parents during school and while playing outside. When the child shouts, cries or have irregular heart beat or it crosses certain range of location, the independent watch should send GPS location and is voice to the parents automatically.
Right now there are smart watches like Fillip designed for children with features including GPS and basic mobile phone capabilities.
The smart watches being wrist held device could have widespread and personalized solutions like when it sees you were being a attacked or met with accident or have sudden health issue, it automatically informs police, hospital, your friends and family based on your preferences.
